This recording is entirely of "prosodic" texts, and features Mme. Lamandier's unique voice without any accompaniment. All the texts featured on this recording are taken from the out-of-print melody-only score by Mme. Haïk-Vantoura, Message biblique intégrale.

The artist's haunting performance of Genesis 1:1-2:3 alone is worth the rest of the album (in which, once again, the performance quality is rather mixed). The intervals and chords that return from the walls of the Abbey of Thoronet are different from those that one hears on the Psaumes de David recording, because the harmonic structure of prosody differs from that of psalmody. All the same, the effect is matchless.

A brief excerpt from this recording has recently been featured in the film The Gospel of John by Visual Bible International (2003). The Priestly Blessing (Numbers 6:22-27) appears again and again as a compositional motive (especially verse 23a). Most of the verses in the Blessing appear in the film's closing theme and elsewhere, though out of order (for the sake of musical effect).
