The Meitzlers: 3rd Generation

RED GROUP I SARAH JANE FRIERSON john Curtis Meitzler was the son of Charles Conrad and Susan Meitzler. He was born on July 14, 1870 in Copiah County, MS. and died on December 11, 1907. John Curtis married Sarah Jane Frierson on June 27, 1901 in Pearl River County, MS. They are the ancestors of the "Red Group I" Meitzlers listed on this Web site. Sarah Jane (apparently after the death of John Curtis) remarried, and is (with her second husband Isaac Carroll Williams) the ancestor of the "Red Group II" Meitzlers. John Curtis and Sarah Jane Meitzler had three recorded children: Curtis Conrad Meitzler Dorris Emolina Meitzler Mary Augusta Meitzler Mary Augusta Meitzler later became Mary Augusta Arrington and after that, Mary Augusta Coulter.

This photograph is of the home of John Curtis and Sarah Jane Meitzler. Five children (including some from the Schaller branch of the family -- see Blue Group II) are visible in the photograph.
