To
find a specific person and his or her lineage, you may use the table below as follows: 1) The line of descent
from any one person is read from left to right (by row). Thus one may trace (for example) a direct line of descent
from Charles Conrad Meitzler
(2nd generation) to Kenneth Mitchell Jr.
(7th generation).
2) The number of children
descended from any one person in a given column is read from top to bottom in the next column. Thus Kenneth Mitchell (6th generation)
had two children, Kenneth Mitchell Jr.
and Vanessa Mitchell
(7th generation).
3) Where two people
in the same generation are in close proximity in the same column, the list of children of the first person ends
at the row where the second person is found. Thus below Kenneth
Mitchell Jr. and Vanessa
Mitchell (7th generation), the children of Kenneth
Mitchell (6th generation), we immediately find Vernon (Unknown) and Denton (Unknown), the children
of Susan (Unknown)
(6th generation).
4) The table below
provides underlined links
to pages that are devoted to specific persons (and that are "up and running" at any given time). Some
persons without offspring do not have their own pages, but are listed on the pages devoted to their parents.
5) Not all the husbands
or wives of the Meitzler extended family can be listed in this abbreviated table. Generally the line of male descent
is followed in assigning birth or married names. (Married or unknown last names are listed in parentheses.) In
a few cases where one or the other spouse has remarried, a person may be listed more than once (sometimes under
different names) and have more than one page assigned to him or her.
6) Persons belonging
to Red Groups I and II,
White Group and
Blue Groups I and II
are designated by the following cell colors.
